Wellness for Every Body & Every Paw.

Welcome to Canine & Co Therapeutic Massage.

My name is Kat Lee, I am a qualified Canine Myofunctional Therapist certified by the National College of Traditional Medicine, Queensland. I am also a human massage therapist with over a decade of experience in deep tissue/trigger point therapy and relaxation, as well as a qualified Reiki practitioner. Our studio is located on a tranquil acreage property in Guanaba, Gold Coast Hinterlands, where you and your canine companion can relax, restore and revitalise your body and mind, with tailored therapeutic massage.

As a foster carer and dedicated animal lover, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative effects that tailored, nurturing massage therapy can have on anxious, stressed, neglected, and injured animals. My own journey into Canine remedial massage is dedicated to my soul-dog Coby, who gave us the blessing of unconditional love for over 8 years. A gentle-hearted, wise old soul, he was and still is, my greatest teacher. Our two fur kids Ash and Bodhi are now enjoying all the benefits of canine myofunctional therapy, and reiki energy healing.

I have always had a deep connection with animals, and I believe that natural and alternative therapies can truly make a remarkable difference in their health and longevity. Massage therapy is a powerful healing modality for the body, mind and spirit, benefiting both humans and animals alike. Canine & Co Therapeutic Massage offers a unique and effective approach to canine remedial massage that is tailored to each individual dog’s needs. My goal is to restore, maintain, and enhance the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of your beloved furry companion. Let us help you and your four-legged friend live your best lives together.

What is Canine Myofunctional Therapy

What is Canine Myofunctional Therapy

Canine Myofunctional Therapy is a natural therapy using soft tissue massage to treat the entire canine muscular system. It is specifically designed to benefit a dog through every stage of life, by combining remedial and sports massage with relaxation techniques to repair and maintain muscle and joint flexibility, extensibility and body balance.

Pain and trauma can be carried in your own body for so long that it is outside of your conscious awareness. This is true for your animals too, BUT they often have active pain that they can’t tell you about, and that you can’t see. How much more energy and joy would they feel if they were free of this?

Kat is an amazing therapist for both humans and pups. This was my first ever massage and I will definitely be coming back. My pup had a tight back that was causing her issues, and I was able to get a nice relaxing massage there too. Can’t recommend her enough. The property is so amazing you just relax completely while you are there.

I highly recommend Kat! She does a wonderful job of keeping my pooch comfortable and at ease while she massages her muscles and joints. As my dog ages and is suffering from arthritis, Kat's skills and knowledge are just what is required to help ease her pain. Thank you Kat!

Kat is fabulous with both humans and our 4 legged friends. I would highly recommend her for both. I have 3 dogs, one that has arthritis throughout all her joints and Kat's caring hands provide her with some relief. All 3 of my dogs love seeing Kat and are naturally drawn to her. She is also wonderful with the human body. She reads the body well and can find all the tight areas to provide release that is needed. Thanks Kat!
